My husband and I loved our tour with our guides Emiko and Kyohei. As it was Wakame season, we switched the Ama-show with watching actual fishermen of the region processing wakame algea. We hat a nice chat with the people from the village and participated in processing wakame. Kyohei is an actual diver, who dives for abalone and sea cucumber for a living. Our trip to the beautiful temple and shrine of Ise was very informative. Emiko explained Shinto Religion and Customizing very nicely and is fluent in english and german.

If you are going to spend time on Ise, book a tour with the local guide Yoshinara. He not only tailored the experience to our interests, he was extremely versed in the local lore. You will get so much more out of your trip if you add a guide. Don't miss a thing! Definitely book this tour with Yoshinari today!
